Is it acceptable for men/teenage boys to wear makeup and/or high heels.
I'd love to hear your opinion on this.

So show me in the bible that homosexuality is immoral.
It is in several religions but you shouldn't let that dictate what you should do or not.
It's not in Christianity, which he originally cited as "the bible".

Now keep in mind, I am not religious by any means. But I accept religion, when it practices what it preaches.

I even some days envy those of faith.

However, when someone gets preachy, I like to meet them with the Epicurean paradox.

"God, he says, either wishes to take away evils, and is unable; or He is able, and is unwilling; or He is neither willing nor able, or He is both willing and able. If He is willing and is unable, He is feeble, which is not in accordance with the character of God; if He is able and unwilling, He is envious, which is equally at variance with God; if He is neither willing nor able, He is both envious and feeble, and therefore not God; if He is both willing and able, which alone is suitable to God, from what source then are evils? Or why does He not remove them? "

Oh yes, this classic one. Now it even comes with a meme flowchart.

Just because things don't unfold the way you would have them if you were in God's place, does not mean that he isn't eradicating evil.

God wants to eliminate evil, and can. And is.

There's a great answer to this that's written much better than I could put it so I'll just leave it below:

Our problem, and the skeptics’ problem, is God isn’t eliminating it like we’d eliminate it, were we God. We’d do it faster. We’d smite evildoers harder. We’d be a lot more wrathful, a lot less subtle, a lot less gracious. We wouldn’t bother to try to save every human we possibly can first; we’d figure they weren’t worth saving.

In eliminating evil, we’d do all sorts of evil. And because we think we have a handle on God (and we don’t really) we project a lot of our motives and means upon him, and want him to get all wrathful and smitey like we would, and fret when he doesn’t. Doesn’t he care about evil like we do?

Of course he does. But the way he’s chosen to defeat it is through love. And because we humans suck at love, we assume love is too passive for our tastes. We much prefer vengeance.

At the very end of God’s process, evil will be gone. Everything evil did, will be undone. Death will be undone. Tears will be wiped away. All things will become new. Those of us who trust him, know this era is coming. Those of us who don’t, are trying to create it already (and inadequately) through laws and peer pressure… and any other means than love. Or they’ve given up and presume God’s left the building, or isn’t there.

But you don't trust him, as you question his creations. Namely, homosexuality. He created that, yet, you question and hate it. So, all you've to offer, is judgement and empty platitudes under the thin guise of "faith".

How can you preach love and acceptance, when you yourself cannot do either?
Leonardo Da Pinchi 2022 年 1 月 14 日 下午 3:05
Plain and simple, kids. You cannot preach love and acceptance, while also acting like a bigot.

oh it's effective alright but also entirely pointless, everyone will just be arguing and in the end it won't solve anything
that's the whole point.
they want to start a fight. they want to sit back and "watch it burn".

Hmm... is glam rock deader than disco, or the same amount of dead as disco?

Roxanne is still a tragic heart-stealer.

So your logic is everything in existence should be loved because it comes from God?

Lol, okay.

Funny for someone who claims to be faithful, but doesn't even follow the simplest ideals.

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself"

until you can love, don't preach about it. I'm sure God doesn't like hypocrites.

Because I have a brain and am not disingenuous, I know that's not what it means.

I love everything that is good and true. Your filth does not fall into that category.

Define good and true, and not just YOUR view of it. Because for someone who claims to act Christian, you're not behaving like someone Christ himself would wanna be around.
