i don't do it anymore, but high school I would go to this club called Mississippi Nights (kind of a Missouri version of CBGBs) and jump into the mosh pit with dark red lipstick, black eyeliner, and usually a broom skirt. I always had something like jean shorts on under the skirt because it was a mosh pit and I didn't want to risk anything. With my long crimson hair, I fit right in.

Man, I didn't realize it until just now typing this, I REALLY MISS THOSE DAYS.

It was helped by the fact that one of the regular bands was this kind Nine Inch Nails rip off called Voice of God. All guys, and they would come out on stage dressed at Catholic school girls and nuns. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ music but they put on one hell of a show.
