I have Super Mario Land 2 on the way. What else would you recommend that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg? :)

I'm happy with the GBC ( so far ) but sometimes I wonder if I should have just bought a GBA SP which plays....well....just about everything. :P

GBA-SP was the last great handheld. Except for not having a headphone jack, it was very nearly perfect, and none of the DSs ever live up to it.

Final Question: I got Mario Land 2 in the mail and love it.

It's very playable but the visibility is a bit poor. You almost have to tilt it a certain way to get that "just right" picture.

Would getting a SP alleviate some of that problem? :)

That's pretty much the reason the SP exists.

That and the rechargeable battery.

not getting shut down for the moment but they're talking about removing credit card support on the 3DS e-shop which doesn't look like a good thing.

it's already been closed down in some countries where the console is less popular from what I've been reading in the news.

Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal - It has a day/night cycle and even a weekday system, where certain NPCs are available. Also you can add trainers to your phone for rematches. You can even explore the entire region of Gen 1. Quite a lot of improvements over the original game for such a small cartridge. Some cute/hot 'mons added this gen too.

Perfect Dark GBC - Impressive graphics for the system and some unique gameplay. It's an acquired taste.

Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, Zelda: Oracle of Seasons - Good zelda games, with nice graphics because of the seasonal changes.

Super Mario Land DX - It's mario.
Tetris - It's tetris.

Don't bother with any kind of 3rd party licensed game. They are ALL garbage.

Same for Daikatana. There was a Gameboy version and it's actually decent.
