I am obsessed with Batman

Just wrapped of Batman Year One. Started up Dark Knight Returns and on the third chapter. I'm already obsessed with batman, manly because of the animated show from the 90s me and my grandpa watch. I own a good ton of Batman figures I got for Christmas, and even got a Batman hoodie I wear a lot. He is just so cool, and a superhero I always looked up too, especially right now

Mask of the Phantasm is pretty cool but I always thought Return of the Joker (the Batman Beyond one) and Under the Red Hood were both better.

I mean, by post-OWS logic, this would be true, but in-universe, the Waynes have done tons of good things for Gotham.

Remind you that Batman is not a superhero. He’s little anti hero material, more than a hero. He is not a hero that city deserves, but he is a hero that city needs….so we hunt him..oh sorry. I stop.

Let me also point out that The Batman is a sadly underrated cartoon.

It's got bad character designs, especially for villains. But otherwise, it's an excellent show. It did a lot of neat things with a lot of the villains, and it does a great job of giving Batman lots of toys. But its real strong suit is its original villains--DAVE, the Everywhere Man and the guy from "Seconds" are all grade A.

I mean, it's not BTAS, but I found it a really good show.

The problem with Batman comic books ( and with many Marvel and DC books ) is that there isn't a lot of creative freedom.

At Image, they OWN their creations and can do whatever the heck that want.

That being said, Marvel and DC still have some cool stuff. Check out Batman: The Imposter.
