…My answer is get a PC that can emulate a Switch. Why bother with console gaming when a computer can do the job of every console and then some?

if you have a capable gaming pc, get the steam deck
you can use remote play to stream games from pc to the deck

the deck can play less demanding games on its own

I'd go for the Deck, honestly. It offers FAR more value for money than the Switch.

A PC is not portable though also if there's a black out then you ain't playing any games.

Nintendo could have released all their games on the Wii U. Not sure my Switch was worth it, hardware wise more environmental fodder.

Steam Deck not for me really I had my bouts with handhelds, and tho I generally like them, not sure when I would use them again.

For me the nintendo switch has not been worth it, a few hours of snes multiplayer, a few weeks playing mario maker 2 and a good time on Mario 3d world multiplayer wasnt worth it imo, i got more value out of my PS4 (that i still half regret) and its one actual game Bloodborne.
