Congratulations, you're a furry. Not that there's anything wrong with that so long as you keep it within reason. Don't be that guy. You know the one.

Bruh you don't even need to be a doctor to diagnose someone as a furry, you've just got to know what one is.

Please, define "furry". I'm still not sure if I know anything

Let me just say that i am not sexually attracted to Niko. I just think he/she (when do we get to know the gender?!) Is cute.

Which one you used to be, a furry or a degenerate?
And yes, I do know the difference if you were gonna ask me.

How is this an obsession to you so much that you are "no longer able to think because you don't know?" And, how does that description communicate something of specific importance? What is that "don't know?" What do you mean by "no longer able to think?"

I have no clue what this character is, so I searched around and got some info. It's an androgynous, adolescent/child, cartoon character that wears a hat with cat-ears and may, indeed, be a cat-like creature itself. It is messianic, but relies on interacting with the player in a sometimes innocent, child-like, way. It appears, but I can't be sure, to exhibit vulnerability, but with the possibility of empowered destiny. In short, a sort of innocent, yet heroic, childlike figure.

(My analysis - The interpretation here should be extremely clear to most who take the time to ponder it... The intent behind the creation of that character is obvious - It's an analogue of the potential customers in the targeted audience. Thus, the players the game targets are encouraged, by it's design and the setting, to identify with and become attached to the character. For others, this sort of character will usually engender feelings of protection, concern, empathy, etc, too. An interest in seeing the character progress in its arc coincides, usually, with similar experiences the more mature player may have experienced in their own life. Again, purposeful construction. It is firmly designed to promote attachment and engagement in adolescent/child players, though. A classic "Disney" supporting or even main character archetype, IOW.

The point - The character is designed to elicit certain responses and more favorably targets specific age groups. That means your "obsession" with it is not as unlikely as some may think, but if you're truly having issues with "thinking" you may need to disengage from it and seek help. Talk to your parents about it.)

And, if you're truly obsessed with it? Then, yes, you may have a common problem that seems to be cropping up with today's youth in that you may not be able to appropriately identify with and attach to appropriate social peer groups that don't also find themselves similarly obsessed, even approaching issues with your own identity as a result.

No, as I understand it, you are not a "furry." Though, furries don't understand themselves, IMO. That's OK, a lot of normal people don't understand themselves, either.

I think you should go outside more and interact directly, in person, with more of your peers, especially those that are human. Stop fixating on cartoon characters to provide you with social engagement and attachment needs. Turn the computer off, go find some real people to engage and interact with.

At the very least, go talk to your parents and ask them about their own experiences with cartoon characters and other fictional characters in their youth. They may have some interesting stories to tell you.

PS: As an aside - People should not be having such concerns. But, they do and with increasingly disturbing frequency.

PPS: Yes, I gave the same care to keeping my post brief as the average thread here takes care to present a topic that can actually be suitably discussed... Until the general threat-OP subject matter is much more focused, overly bloviated posting will continue. :)

You... you didn't just write that. No. You didn't.
Edit: And I do go outside quite often and I have many friends I do stuff with.

*lol*
That's what I thought. It's funny that so many people jumped to the conclusion that it was something... more.

This seems a bit out of character for Niko but is still amusing within context :

...see, look how cute he is, even as a violent criminal. xD

He did. Feel free to check his post history & even read the context to see that they're all relevant & on-topic.

He's really good at writing but not so good at being concise. :P

I am similar but... I usually just respond to multiple things at once.

I'd say, you should play OneShot, but considering that I got stuck on one of the puzzles and didn't finish the game, I don't think I can recommend it just yet. ...maybe I'll try again later...

A'right, now THAT is a furry.

The actual characters can be a furry too, like Bugs Bunny, Star Fox, and uh... Animal Crossing.

Still coming up with that "Furry-Fan" BS i see.
Having a fursona makes you a furry - being the commissioned artist who draws it doesn't.

If simply liking a furry character makes one a furry, then I am watermelon, chocolate ice-cream, and dill dip.

If you also have to draw the thing in question, then I am an apple, a banana, an orange, a teddy bear, a cupcake, and Yoshi. ...and many more things.
