What is a good alternative to norton?
I didnt know until now that norton added crypto stuff into their software which scares me a bit off.What are the best alternatives to norton?It should definetly have a vpn as well.greetings

I heard a lot of good things about malwayrebytes and kaspersky but i think only kaspersky offers also a vpn

Almost all consumer VPNs are merely security theater, I wouldn't bother making a decision based on that.

And third party AVs are all kinda bloatware-y these days. I used to love MBAM but the last time I had it installed it was a chore to get it to shut up about other things they wanted to sell me.

I think it's better to spend more effort configuring security features on network hardware if you really want "security." It's still basically a myth though, just most of us aren't worthwhile targets.
