Sony better be putting their games on PC now.

Xbox basically dominates the market with the recent purchase. Unless Sony gets rid of the idea of console exclusive they're going to fail.

Bloodeborne, Demon's Souls remake, Spiderman and so on need to be made for PC now. Microsoft ensured that there is almost no reason to get a ps5.

Oh Microsoft was going to shut down xbox after the Xbox one disaster. Had it not been for Phil Spencer it would of been gone. Thanks to Phil Xbox is now relevant again after a lot of work that they needed to do.

No need to keep bringing up Nintendo btw. Either their console fails or succeeds they keep doing their own thing. Pokemon IP alone makes more money than Sony and Microsoft.

2021 they lost the revenue battle with Xbox. You can't call yourself top when you make less than your competitors.

Microsoft ended with about 10 million Xbox series sold while Playstation sold about 15 million ps5's. Gotta remember than Game Pass, the thing KEEPING Xbox relevant, is on PC as well. Adding in a now bigger PC market with Activision-Blixzard being bought out will make that revenue MUCH higher. Adding 20 billion more to Xbox and roughly taking about 10-20 Billion from Playstation its pretty obvious who's ahead now. Hence why I'm putting down the statement Sony needs to put their games on PC if they want to stay relevant.

Same stuff happened during PS3 and Xbox360. Xbox was beating Playstation for most of that generation. Sony ended up getting more ps3's sold by the end of that generation BECAUSE they started releasing a lot of games while Xbox stagnated. It's the reason why ps3 didn't really sell at the beginning.

... Microsoft is a 3.2 trillion dollar company.. Sony is at 150 billion, Nintendo is at 60 billion.... With this current acquisition of Activsion Blizzard, one of the largest companies in gaming, its pretty safe to say that they surpassed these companies in IP and studio power.. Especially Nintendo, which if they bought them instead of Activision Blizzard, they could have done it for nearly $9 billion cheaper.... And based on the sales of actual consoles, Playstation has only sold 4 million more thus far.. With a massive spike in sales for Xbox starting this year..

yes sony has nothing to worry about becuase of their first party games, same with nintendo. xbox only really had halo and they had to make that into pc too since they were desperate to compete. every exclusive that xbox has , playhstation has the better original version like gran turismo vs forza for example.

Not really a war when majority of the generation was dominated by xbox360. Nintendo is Nintendo and I won't add in the wii. If I did then both consoles should of been canned if we're going by the logic you're putting forth.

Going to the whole "war" idea you're now putting on yhe table is very stupid. Mobile beats consoles in revenue and PC is catching up to consoles. By the stupid "war" logic the consoles should be gone and everyone should hail their new mobile overlords.

xbox 360 wasnt a succuess revnue wise because it was poorly built and rushed in order to compete with playstation. thats why most of the xbox 360 consoles suffered from the red ring of death and microsoft lost so much money having to constantly fix those consoles for the customers free of charge with free 2 way shipping, not to mention having to redisign the 360 itself to not keep sufffering the same issue and recallling their unsold consoles, etc. so yes they technically sold more but it nearly cost them having to cancel making consoles ever again.
