As for recommended toppings blue-red wine sauce with fresh herbs
rear-spicy sauce
med rear-herbed butter or onion gravy
med- crispy onion and bacon butter
well done-B.b.q sauce and crispy garlic

Personally I don't like putting sauce on my steak. Yum yum sauce is pretty good on it, though.

I guess no one here heard of A-1 sauce the only sauce that should be on steak. And everyone is wrong here steaks taste better rare and only rare.

Good seasoned steak doesn't need sauce. But the potato wedges need at least mustard if not ketchup.

I'm kind of an oddball when it comes to gastronomic preferences: I once tried some pork steak with a mix of mayo and ketchup: it's not too bad. I may try some cheese sauce next time, when my fancy's tickled.
