Minecraft Crossbows Unbalanced

The different enchantments on the crossbow definitely seems to be directed on crowd control, and are pretty much useless outside of defeating 1.14 raids.

You can fire fireworks using crossbows, and pre-charge them to have multiple crossbows loaded at the same time. Once again, very geared towards crowd control. The Multishot enchantment also works on fireworks.

Max damage fireworks are expensive and you need a considerably large Creeper farm to use them leisurely.

I feel like Mojang doesn’t want to replace the classic sword and bow, but instead add niche/ situational alternatives like the trident and crossbow. I feel like the 1.9 axe was the closest weapon to dethroning the diamond sword as a melee weapon.

Who would need a crossbow when you have a bow with infinty and unbreaking 3 and flames

microsoft runs minecraft now. mojang is out of the picture. if you have feedback about minecraft, it is best to post in the minecraft forums so their developers can see them

If i had my pc rn i would have send you a ss of all the enchantments on my bows they are OP seriously crossbows are kinda lame with the fire rate
