No I wouldn't trust having strangers inside the main house. I prefer to clean my own stuff so I know it's actually going to be clean and tidy (and have nothing turn up "missing").

I've agreed to let someone live in my house rent free and I can't even convince him to do his own dishes. But I'm not a homophobe or a transphobe so I have to deal with doing them myself*.

(*OK, I admit, that's not true. My partner takes care of all the dishes, because I'm a misogynist.)
