why all fps/shooters suck?

i'm trying to get back into online fps games and i can't because they all suck....take battlefield for example huge maps full of vehicles what could possibly go wrong except constantly getting killed by choppers and tanks half a mile away and when those don't kill you someone knifes you from the back because the map is so big 90% of the time you get killed from a blind spot

wtf are they thinking when they're designing these games

i tried all of the most popular shooters these days and i can't enjoy any one of them they're either incredibly frustrating or just boring

not to mention they're all full of cheaters

the state of fps games these days is sad.

Your statement is wrong because TF2, DOOM and Quake exists.

You actually need to pay attention in Battlefield games. If you just run willy-nilly don't be surprised if you get shot from every angle.

i come from cs i know all about paying attention and skills...but csgo is old and outdated and i want something new

paying attention in battlefield gets you nowhere...battlefield is the most happy go lucky game if i ever saw one, you basically run around hoping to not get blown away that's battlefield core gameplay in a nutshell

The only thing that accomplishes is getting a body full of shrapnel. You're meant to run from cover to cover, pay attention to sounds like footsteps or enemy voice lines, take advantage of the minimap or the many different spotting devices you have.

Complaining about getting fom shot from all sides is like complaining that the stove is hot if you stick your hand in it.

there's a reason why battlefield is not played competitively... basically the core design is too flawed to be taken seriously
