People who steal other's old usernames

I was on a server today and another player totally ripped off an old user name that I came up with. About 3 months ago, I changed my user name from Animal Mother to The Globfather. I guess someone, who posesses ZERO originality, couldnt think up of a good name so they just used mine. Wow, what a knuckle dragging mental midget! Has this ever happened to anyone else?
