He originally was laughing if you saw his face but eventually his wife showed him his testicles in the little jar she keeps in her purse and he was like "yes dear" and smacked him in the face.
And, not to defend Chris’ joke; But then combine that with it being tradition for many Hollywood comedians to poke at each other with humor at these events. If a person disagrees with that type of humor they just shouldn’t have attended.
Whatever happened, however it happened—real, staged, or somewhere in between, it’s one of the most empty, superficial, pathetic things I’ve ever seen a man in Hollywood do.
Not defending that type of humor. Sometimes it does go too far, or still upsets people even when it doesn’t seem to go too far. But that’s just not a mature or professional way to handle it at all. Just embarrassing for Hollywood all the way around.
