If anyone takes minecraft pvp seriously, that's just sad. Minecraft was never meant to be a pvp game. Which would explain why you can't defend yourself from someone spamming their sword at you other than to run away or use a bow.

some mechanics of minecraft pvp are really stupid i must say, like people can 2 shot you with 2 hits with iron axe while you can't with iron sword or just the same axe bruh, or just the random knockback or fireball or bow players

The bedwars idea is fun though.

Back when I played Bedwars in 2018, the strat was to go for speed boost immediately.
After getting the speed boost as the first upgrade I found myself winning 90% of the games.
-You are harder to hit cuz you are faster
-Can outrun & chase down other players
-All around faster rotation for emeralds and diamonds around the map

there's no speed boost, there's haste but that's like for mining or pvp but i usually go for sharpness first
