I decided to get my looks rated on reddit

I went on the subreddit r/truerateme. Where they use an objective attraction chart for men and women. Almost everyone gave me a 4/10. One even gave a 3.5/10 lol. And one was generous enough to give me a 5 (probably lying)

Yeah it sucks to confirm that you're unattractive. Damn it really is going to be hard to find a gf now.

Physical appearances do matter to many yet sometimes it feels cruel but realistic.
Most of my guy friends do not get a date due to their appearances and personalities but when I chat to the ladies we're trying to set them up with, they do mention that they simply were not attracted to their appearances. I didn't have the heart to tell my guy friends this. On the flip-side, if you are physically attractive (with a decent personality), it does open doors.

I will be honest. Looks dont have much to do with getting girls. Men care alot more about looks.
Dont listen to the scrubs on reddit either thinking women want an alpha male. They cant get a girl either. Theres not even alpha males in the wild and women want a man not a dog. Work on being a man.

I have never heard of that subreddit. But I did use r/amiuglybrutallyhonest. I think it got like 36 upvotes and a good amount of people said I'm not ugly but not particularly good looking either which honestly is to be expected considering 1.) I'm skinny and 2.) I wear glasses. My hair style isn't good either and I absolutely hate getting fades. I've been using kpop and other asian men beauty photos as references to see how I can make myself look good. That and mirror's edge catalyst lmao.

Also, maybe there are simple fixes for you. New haircut, better fashion style, or maybe working out. However, if you are truly ugly, then the only realistic option is to get plastic surgery and workout.

I think like that. I like cute over beautiful. Britney Spears is beautiful. But not at all unique. When I see a picture of her in the news it has to say who she is or I don't recognize her. "perfect" is boring.

Agreed. There are some cool subs, but many only exist as an excuse to s*** on other people. "Frontpage of the Internet" is an apt description, though, since this is less of an Reddit and more of a people-problem. Though, Reddit, like all social-media platforms, sure are willing to profit from this.

It'll have to be plastic surgery. I've seen guys thin as rakes pull women just because they have a good face. Getting buff and ugly probably won't help me.

I used to think I was attractive. But my numerous rejections from women over the years suggest otherwise.

Had a few guys tell me stuff like "how is a woman going to sleep with you with a face like that?". It was brutal.
