Step one: grow a beard
Step two: try and shave it off with an electric razor.
Once upon a time I owned an electric razor. I got it when I was young, and didn't know any better. When I tried to use it to shave off a grown man's beard, I threw it away and never looked back again.
My experience went something like this... BZZZzzzzztststst...GRRRoNNNnnk... and then I stood there looking at my reflection in the mirror with my electric razor hanging from my beard.
It's possible that modern razors work better but this was a Braun from Germany, so I'm thinking not so much? One thing that has always worked without fail is a good blade. Or three of them really, since I prefer the overpriced Mach 3 razors.
In my part of the world, you have to ask the cashier for them by name (because they are too valuable to keep on the shelves), you wind up paying a lot for them, and they will serve you faithfully for a ridiculously long period of time... assuming you clean them.
Electric? That's for women, and metrosexuals.
