Older Simpsons (1 - 10) is better

but Newer SpongeBob is better than Newer Simpsons

so I say Simpsons

I never really watched SpongeBob Squarepants. (My kids did, and they seemed to enjoy it a lot.)

I've watched my fair share of The Simpsons though (which my kids also watched and enjoyed), and while I didn't get a lot of Homer's stupidity, I found story lines centered around the other cast members to be appealing.

I prefer the Simpsons.

Spongebob is one of the tv shows that I dislike the most.

I would say original Simpsons, the first few series. They were gold.

Simpsons these days, its just awful. Spongebob blows it out the water yet if you compare Spongebob to old Simpsons its a no contest. Simpsons became a famous long running cartoon for a reason and it was the comedy and writing of the first few seasons that did it.

Simpsons win by land slide. Way more seasons made, many great episodes which will be remembered, which of Sponge bob has NONE, just the same old in every ep. Simpsons has better jokes, better writers and is better because i say so.

Spongebob is funny but The Simpsons are more interesting.

The jokes in Spongebob are childish and comic, while The Simpsons also have a form of social commentary and generally more thought-provoking themes.

I don't like the Simpsons (although the older seasons were good), I'm more of a Futurama person.
I used to like Spongebob when I was a kid, but I'm pretty sure it gave me brain damage.

My answer is neither.

I liked season 1 to 3 of spongebob better. Although Bart's prank calls are one of the best thing about the simpsons. So I'd say they both have pros and cons.
