How to block steam awards

I do not want steam awards and people keep giving it to be and most of the time it feels more insulting than anything when i get a clown award on my profile and posts.

You can't, but you can hide them, if you click on Edit Profile.

I simply ended up incorporating the design of the award, with the design of the profile, to overcome this issue. I think its safe to say, that it became very colourful.

(I don't find it insulting, by the way. I like to think its supposed to be perceived as somewhere between amusing and charming.)

Go fully private and don't post anything public.

Being private prevents users from awarding your profile.

Not posting or uploading public content will prevent users from awarding said content.

Yeah, care, you get points so you can award/highlight other posts.. i got 23 something awards for a post recently, i winder what the record is, 100+?
