I've seen how reality shows are made. They are not "staged" in a way that there would be a script to follow.
Instead, they're casted so that the participants and the audience can be manipulated into predictable reactions, with zero regard to their mental, sometimes physical boundaries.

As far as i know there were several rl murderers guests in his show. One of them killed his mother and was clearly mentally disturbed. This scene is why i know him. It's not scripted reality.
