Hm. It could be that your work space or the area in which you use your computer could have that scent. It's always good to clean your mouse and keyboard regularly with scented stuff meant for mice and keyboards, and also clean your desk.

I remember the pink glue sticks in elementary schools smelled like Froot Loops back then, don't know if they still do now. Also despite it being a ♥♥♥♥ post or not OP might consider cleaning their work area. They might also eat chicken nuggets in their spare time too. Who knows. I do know that when I eat my mom's veggie and meat pizzas my hands smell like that pizza for about a day. A week though sounds impossible.
