My reaction today would be much different than it would have been a decade ago.

2009 - Oh my God, Gabe Newell died? Holy crap! Who will take up the visionary torch he held for all these years? Where will Valve go from here and what will this mean for Episode 3 and their future games?!?!

She would probably turn the company public and hand things off to a CEO and a board of directors while retaining 51% of stock.
