Why do girls like horses so much?

Generalization aside, equines have been marketed toward the younger female populatuon for several decades or more in the form of television and toys. As for the reason for the targeted marketing, it might have something to do with a resurgance in the romanticism of "country life" and the "cowgirl" figure. Equine care can also traditionally be equated to a sense of motherhood and a nurturing nature commonly attributed to female humans.

As far as why "girls like horses" it could be said that it is the same anyone likes horses. They are intelligent with a high trainability, loyal herd animals, rather docile nature, a rideable and pack hauling animal, and are rather majestic in appearance.

well I frequently go horse riding and help at a stables so I can say I like horses. I have done since I was little.

They are very friendly, intelligent and fun animals and no 2 horses are the same.

Horses are cool and it probably feels quite nice to have a hand in socialising with them and occasionally caring for them, let alone the definite athletic activity of riding them. Which is reasonably demanding, as a horse isn't a sofa.

edit: also girls don't usually have testicles for the riding motion to bruise, from experience that really hurts unless you manage to tuck them just right

edit 2: or maybe i just have enormous goolies, who knows
