Razer should be shut down by trading standards.
When Razer brings back the Boomslang and Logitech makes a proper trackball I might consider them again.
This. I’ve always thought Razer reeked of alienware-esque gamer trap smell. Though maybe they’re more well adjusted these days idk. I don’t put effort into following them.
Logitech has never done me wrong. Some of their products I’ve had, have had some flaws. But they were all good quality for the price. Can’t complain.
If I ever can’t find what I want/need from Logitech, then I might consider Razer at this point just because they still exist and they make that kinda stuff. But not a fan.
(This happens with the hero edition too correct?)
I've only had it for less than a year, but I use a Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum keyboard, and it's the best keyboard I've ever owned.
I also bought a G502 Hero mouse because of all the good reviews but didn't like it. I can't explain why, but it just didn't feel right to me. I ended up boxing it to keep as a backup and picking up a Corsair Nightsword RGB that I've been very happy with. To be fair, I think the G502 thing was just an issue with my hand/grip more than a quality problem with the mouse.
Can't say anything for Razer one way or the other. I have nothing against them, but I've never owned any Razer stuff. All of my keyboards/mice over the last...at least decade have been either Corsair or Logitech. And I'm a big fan of Sennheiser when it comes to headphones.
I also still have a Logitech G11 keyboard that I bought in 1006 or 2007 I think, but I rarely use it due to me having a laptop nowadays. But when my son spilled coke over his laptop and his build in keyboard stopped working, we hooked it up and it worked without issue.
I had some issues with a MX Revolution in the past that started doubleclicking after 4 months, Logitech support was quick to send me a new one after providing the info they requested. That one was from the same production series and also started doubleclicking after 4 months, I then got a newer model as a replacement. The way they handle their support is great.
