metroid dread is awful
everyone is kissing this games ass, oh great game and awesome bosses. huh? am i playing a different game? because this game is too much dark souls, same for samus returns, fusion, prime 2 and 3.

enemies and bosses do a whopping 300 damage

some taking up the whole room

unavoidable attacks

stupid QTE's that EVERYONE HATES
this is required to move on and kill bosses... NO

Bosses with many stages and damage sponge

too much nonsense speed boost puzzles that should never be a thing
getting 100% should NEVER be a chore

the ending rewards, a post card i assume is nuts too, beat it under X hours and on hard?
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NO
not worth it

no one plays games to get good, nor for a stupid high challenge in this game and in the prime series

i would love to just get 100% with no BS and just beat the game without too much trouble. but no, that will never happen

Getting 100% should never be a chore? Lol have you been living under a rock? Getting 100% is always a chore unless you're playing hello kitty island adventure.

And i also recently bought luigis mansion 3. And i want to play gta 5. And so many other games.
And also have tests in school.
So many good games. So limited time.

But instead they are 100% cringe and not doing their job right.

It looks pretty boring, honestly. just another metroid game, which has been outclassed by other metroid type games. (Nintendo, wtf, how could you let yourself be outclassed by PC emulators and indie developers, lmao)
And a review I saw recently (Cannot Be Tamed) was pretty honest about it, much like Jim Sterling and the 7/10 score for Breath of the Wild.

Pass on purchase! Too much competition in that price range.

Nah journalist reviews are a lot better than user reviews. You just have to learn the PR speak. They're gonna downplay the negatives. But they're going to point out how stuff works and give you detail instead of, you know...

"It sucks because it's bad because it's terrible because it's bad. Garfix is bad. Gameplay is bad. It's bad bad bad."

That's not how all user reviews are.
A journalist does journalism. Someone can work at a large company and still lie to you.
In fact, that's a big problem.

It pretty much is.

I may have misunderstood; are we talking about Steam users?

No, I just say "user" to mean somebody who doesn't get paid for it, which now that I think about it, doesn't make any sense.

So my bad.

They just released a demo on Switch if you want to try it out.

But I agree, I sold my copy. No excuse for a Nintendo Metroid game to NOT have adjustable difficulty and there are so many elements of the game that are simply annoying...

The new Smurfs game is probably more fun.

I didn’t know that games journalists posted on the Steam forums.

I swear I once saw an article describing the game Banished as "the Dark Souls of city builders."

Well that's my opinion on the game too.

Technically, aren't you all gaming journalists? Everyone is a journalist these days, or do you need to have something special for that?
Yes. You are all journalists, as far as I am concerned, because I don't have that game. I just can't see if *you* actually have, or have played that game. But that aside, you're as much of a journalist as you can get. At least, when you're being sincere enough. You may even add a video.

We just need to know one thing: Do you actually have that game, or are you writing after another? Because that's something we currently can't see on Steam, unless you figure out a way around that.
