Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance max all characters in 10 minutes

A cursory glance on the internet leads me to think no one knows the trick to getting max level on all characters except Drizzt in about 10 minutes.

So, all you need to do is get to the black forge save right before the giant robot (though now it looks like a giant in a suit of armor in the PS4 version, you can see it's arm through the armor), and make a save before killing it. Then make 2-3 new games and make save files, so you have all 3 characters brand new. Reload the black forge, drop any equipment you want, import the brand new character from the save file replacing your current character, grab the equipment and kill the giant robot. Boom, instant ~860kish experience, maxed to level 40. I only did this on extreme mode, but probably works on any as I suspect your character has some value before it kills anything, unless this situation was coded in on purpose.

Now, I know exactly what you old pros are thinking: I only have to do that 125x to hit that fabled level 41??

Well, I did this, reloaded and imported AFTER leveling up to max, repeated and got the normal ~25kish from the kill. Then I got the max level kill once again and reloaded and imported WITHOUT leveling up e.g. didn't go into menu, and something interesting happened. I got another huge amount of exp, but a fraction of 860k, just another few hundred thousand experience from the second level 1 kill. And so on until the returns diminished down to about 50k. So it is heaps more experience towards the level cap, but alas only gets you ~ 2% of the way there, and after it gets down to basically the same as normal, you may as well level up into wisdom.

Also made a new character via import screen (meaning I didn't import from new game file) and then DIDNT delete or replace my current character to see if I would still get the 800k experience pop by landing the killing blow with the new character while the other was still in game, but it only gave the 25k. If it did give the 800k again it'd be super easy to hit level cap. So I'm gonna try that again but with importing the new character from save file instead of creating from import screen, hoping it held a value that won't be there from original file, if it works and gives the extra experience I'll update this post. If not, well..
