Silly question about dreams

When I'm dreaming, I have the same perception of space than in reality ( = I see through my eyes, a 1st person view if you prefer), but a friend of mine pretends that she dreams "in TPS view" like she's out of her body and sees the scene like you would in theater.

Finding this hard to believe, I'd like to ask you guys : how do you dream ?

I dream in third person view, and don't remember ever have dreamt in first person. Actually, that possibility never occurred to me until now

It varies to me: sometimes, it's at first person, sometimes, it's a bird's eye view, sometimes, I can see other people's first person view.

..Now that you've asked, i don't know wether if i dream in first person or third person.

most of the times, i dream being in first person.
sometimes, i dream being in third person.

i seldom dream being in third person which then switches to first person.
this is very scary for me since my dream was about playing left 4 dead and then suddenly the tank appears. and then we all run from the tank after realizing the guns (handgun and m16 rifle) i hold in my hands no longer fire effective bullets as the bullets literally fly out of the gun nozzle like a spit.

Nothing like dreaming that you won a huge sum on lottery and then waking up and realizing that it was just a dream.

I mostly dream in first person, sometimes bird`s eye view of entire city or area, dont think that I have ever seen myself in third person.
