Crash Bandicoot is most popular on console.
https://steamcharts.com/app/731490
While it is true that the game is more popular on console, I agree that a full year is too much, specially with a game that has a bigger replay value thanks to the online and constant new content coming out with these Grand Prix stuff.
Also, it hasn't been officially confirmed on Pc, so all we can do is speculate and hope that it DOES arrive to Steam and that we don't have to wait for june 2020.
Finally I don't think the N. Sane Trilogy and Nitro Fueled are valid to compare since they're two completely different games. As I said, replay value + online + new content will keep the players coming back to Nitro Fueled, be it PS4, Xbox, Switch or, in this case, Pc. The N. Sane Trilogy, while a great game, is a single player experience with no current new content implemented or planned, like Spyro. Once you beat it and maybe get all the achievements, you probably won't touch it for a while.
