Borderlands Clones
Why does every AAA game now have to be a clone of Borderlands? The new Wolfenstein is similar to Borderlands now.

Why don't many games has realistic combat now? Haven't they learned from the likes of Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Mordhau?

If you're in the business of making money, you go with what sells. And the masses want more Borderlands and COD clones. Not niche games like Mordhau or Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

I'm not sure what video games you are playing but there are tons of realistic combat game titles coming out all the time.

Wolfenstein youngblood's is a spin-off and designed to be different. Particularly with the coop.

One game does not your point make

Who wants to tell OP that Borderlands started off as a rip off.

Alright.

Modern Tom Clancy games, Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey, Destiny 2 and Shadow Warrior 2.
Shame Young Blood is not split screen like Borderlands. I am looking for new split screen games all the time to play with the kids. Nice little bit of bonding exercise.

I got old Halo's, Borderlands, EDF's to split screen on. They are not old enough for RE5/6 yet.

If you don't like those games, then try something that isn't AAA. Insurgency Sandstorm is a pretty fun game that came out recently.

Does it have a campaign mode?

Was thinking the same thing. Don't know which game exactly they ripped off but surely it was inspired by something else around before it.

Played through BL1, it's fun but started to kinda drag a bit. Will probably try 2.

Don't know why, I know it's an unpopular opinion but kinda liked Dead Island better. Still wanting to play Dying Light. Dead Island did have a similar format though and has been around for a long time.
I think it was Codehunters (had to google it lol). I love the first two BL games-- everything after is meh. I've never tried Dead Island though-- have to look into that one. Dying Light looks cool too, but it looks like one of those games that would give me motion sickness. :lunar2019piginablanket:

All those games came out before borderlands 3. And let's break this down. The Tom Clancy games are still double tap and you're dead, features actual tactical maneuvers such as theoh so shocking ability to peek around corners and use modern military technology and different loadouts for different characters.

The assassin Creed games do not feature an endless selection of firearms, it does have regenerating health unlike borderlands, and has no first person view.

Destiny 2 is almost identical to destiny 1, with some tweaks and an actual story, and it has the same Cash store it always had.

And you're saying a game that came out in 2016 is ripping off borderlands 3?

None of these games operate like borderlands.

I mean couldn't you even say that Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Mordhau are somewhat "ripoffs" as Chivalry: Medieval Warfare?

Mount & Blade Warband with MP was 2010 so Chivalry 2012 ripped that off lol. Oh crap Age of Chivalry was 2007.
