Really liked the show. Invasion of the dog brain is my favorite ep.

I don't remember much but what I saw it was funny in a way...
Don't remember
No
Is there? That's cool...
I loved that show, what ever happened to it?

Also: had a kid come in with her mom after Zim started (this was in the original season air, many moons ago) looking around with that wide-eyed eagerness to find more of her 'favorite' stuff.
Asks, "there's this cartoon I love it, Invader Zim! And I heard there's a comic by jah...jah hoh nen vas kwez?" (she sounded it out it was hilariously wrong) "and I was wondering if I could get it?"
Thankfully she was with her mom. Because, "Oh yeah Jhonen Vasquez does a comic, but... it's kinda not really for kids your age." She looked all huffy. She was NINE. "Jhonny the Homicidal Maniac," I looked at mom who was amused.
"Well how old should I be to buy it?"
"Come back in another 9 years, and I'll sell it to you."
It was quite funny. I haven't had the chance to watch the new teaser and stuff yet. Looking forward to it. Rikki was quite happy that it was happening again, they enjoyed doing it back then.
... ^see above post lol
It was why I was so amazed that Nick of all stations was picking up his work. None of the other projects he's ever done has ever been... um, 'family friendly' and I wouldn't even call Zim that either given its bizarre contents and strange-as-heck implications. But I'm so glad it did.
Never read the comics but I am interested in reading them. Excited for the movie for sure.
Bad, Bad Rubber Piggy was also my favorite.
Haven't read them.
Mistrustful of movies made 10 years later, but we'll see.
I read a JTHM anthology in an afternoon when I was 14. Helped me deal with a lot of the negative emotions I was feeling at the time, despite the gruesome horror. Seemed to tap that same vein of angst-catharsis that Donnie Darko, Lovecraft, and other really 'grim' stuff did.
I only wish that the single funniest moment in any comic book EVER, was included in the first version of that anthology. I don't know whether they ever reinserted it, but it was the most hysterical thing I have ever read.
(It was the restaurant where girl-of-interest whose name I have since forgotten was on a date with some other guy. omg. the... unfortunately I can't quote it directly because the censor will smack me lol)
Reminds me a little bit of Ren & Stimpy
