What's that got to do with the price of eggs? Were flip phone users less likely to crash their vehicles or something?

They were less reliant on the user having to look directly at it but I dont' think replacing smart phones with flip phones is going to solve the stupidity problem.

I don't know about that. You can make and answer calls with a voice command. You can also dictate texts by voice and have incoming texts read out loud.

Even though I don't endorse using a phone while driving, it is far quicker and easier (and therefore less distracting) to send a text using a smartphone than a flip because the keyboard on the former is far more intuitive and user friendly.

Maybe you are right. I've never used a phone while driving.

Too many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in my country have their phones on their face while driving. I ride a motorcycle and I always catch these fools going slow and causing a lot of inconvenience to others.

While not a flip phone my nokia C1-01 is my daily driver when it comes to a phone and I've got some flak because of it.

When I'm not in my house I have no need for online connectivity or applications. I just want my phone to recieve/send calls and text messages.

you can't use it because they closed those frequencies down. Stupid companies and they're advancing technologies.
