Assuming that you have one.

Zeno of Citium, founder of stoicism. :)

Not because he wrote something I like, but because the school of philosophy he create is the one that give me the more tools to shape my life and mind as wanted. I'm gratefull he did it.
Bruce Lee. Not only is he a martial artist but also quite the philosopher. Most people know his "Be like water" quote but my personal favorite from him is "It's better to be a warrior in the garden than be a gardener in war."

Didnt he just quote ancient Chinese philosophers?

I find it humorous that some people mentioned a long dead person as their favorite philosopher. Someone they never met, but have only encountered via a book or from the internet. Seems like there is a confusion between "a philosopher" and "a philosophy."

There is a documentary film called Derrida (2002) about Jacques Derrida the philosopher. In a segment in the film, Derrida talks about how a philosopher's life is very boring and non-eventful. This is of course in contrast to the work of philosophy which oftentimes can be quite challenging to read or understand.

Perhaps, a better way of phrasing this topic would be "What is your favorite philosophy?" Posing the question this way would challenge the person to separate the 'philosopher' from the 'philosophy' and to come to terms with what it means to have a favorite 'philosophy.' Certain questions would become relevant like 'what is a philosophy exactly...'

No.
I asked what I meant to ask.
An example answer would be "Socrates". Such is the kind of answer I was asking for.

Well, you should know that 'Socrates' left no works of his own. Socrates was created by the philosopher Plato. Like, how Sherlock Holmes was a fiction created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

So Socrates wasn't actually a philosopher, but rather part of Plato's 'philosophy.' You see how things become problematic?

One Google search is all it took to confirm that Socrates was real.

Socrates left no work of his own. Everything we know about Socrates came through Plato. Arguably, Plato created Socrates to 'philosophize.'
