Or rather.. you might know it as a Sprat or Bristling
I was under the impression, that people know about the Sprattus... I mean a lot of people eat them at some point and some even every month. But I guess it might be more popular in my region "Scandinavia" I don´t know.
They are part of the ray finned fishes, the herrings, shads, sardines, etc.
That might be.. maybe I underestimated the American population on steam OT. I was actually sure, it would be a common eat, even in the US. ohh well.. we learn new things every day.

I am sure they do, I don´t know anyone here that don´t know this fish.. but then again.. different regions and even countries have some pretty unique and sometimes weird fish they eat, just look at the Triglidae (or Sea Robin)
