why do tv show reboots fail?

well if were talking about cartoon network then ite pretty easy to figure that out.
its ran by non other than mr krabs, i mean TTG and the power puff reboot

bad songs
bad jokes
crap and cheap animations
not the same characters
they killed them
bad plot and story telling

ben 10, thunder cats and more
thunder cats 2011 was decent, i stopped when it was ripping off marvel, everyone is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to lion-o and so is the brother who kicked him down the hole

i never liked the following shows but it is odd how the let go: chowder, gympartner is a monkey, imginary friends, camp lazlo, adventure time and regular show. all garbage and the new cn is made for morons, gone are the days of quality and quality control, CN sold its soul to the devil or mr krabs and all we get is crap. the new CN has no heart or soul

Well the connection hints between the JJ movies and the Romulans getting borg tech in the P'card timeline. Which helps them/Nero in the JJ movie timeline. P'icard is not prime.

And it worked because they got some of the best talent and a creative person to design the lore and art. Also fantastic music.

If a show has great music it at least has a chance, because youtube uploads.

Just because it was a commercial success does not mean much.
I have never watched any of it, old or new, but I remember the drawings in the old cartoon and they were so much better, the new one looks ugly in comparison (and even just in general in my opinion).
As I have said I don't remember having ever watched that show but the old version looked really really good, the new version it is even hard to tell if it's the actual franchise or some parody made to degrade and make fun of it for how bad and cheap the "art" is.
It can be good for other reasons I don't know, maybe, I hope so since it was so succesful I hope it has other reedeming qualities but the art is really bad, cheap and bland.

Uh. No, it's literally based on Star Trek Next Generation.
There's literally no way to ever claim it's connected to the JJ movies. AT ALL.

Web search it P'icard is Kelvin timeline, but because of Discovery they want the Kelvin timeline cannon as a offshoot of the prime universe. Anyway an alt reality is the Primes new timeline. Star Trek 4 changed the timeline when they save the whales from the past.

I mean KND was pretty cool at the time, but I remember one show(I dont remember what it was called)was made when I was a kid that had characters as babies, watched a couple episodes and hated it.

But I guess to each their own in the end. I may have thought it was stupid but probably a large majority didn't think so.

In my day back in the UK in the 1980's, shows often offended a great number of people with racist, homosexual, cultural and disabled jokes plus stereotyping many of the cast members. Nothing was held back in the uk.

These days shows don't want to be seen as promoting any of theses so in my own opinion, shows and reboots these days just want to spread the WOKE and SJW message and have become boring.

I think the first Terrible reboot I can remember was the doug in high school reboot. Where patty went from girl next door to activist. Roger went from the insecure interesting bully to doing anything his GF wanted. They got rid of the mayor. Skeeter was some sort of worshiped genius and hard to relate too. Porkchop was now really old. And just it became hard to root for anyone anymore. No one felt like the underdog.

I liked that show. The one about the teens that meet up in the mall and hang out. It was a good first season or so. But not a show that should ever run long.

Also, Discovery is not connected to Picard.

You only have to follow the paths OG timeline > ST4 new time line > JJ ST new timeline > Discovery mentions JJ timeline.

The threads are all there. In TNG androids have a legal ruling as sentient beings. In P'icard they are suddenly worker/slaves. Why not holographic workers based on EMH tech? Ok so is it bad writing or an alt timeline?
