What is your go to item for squashing a spider?

Follow up question: A big fat poisonous looking spider suddenly crawls across your desk and the only items available to squish it with are your Nintendo Switch OR your bare hands, which do you use? Also if you get up to find something else when you come back the spider will be gone and will crawl into your ear during the night and whisper bad jokes until you go crazy and blow your brains out.

I don't wrap it. I put the paper on the surface and force it to walk on the paper. And then when it climbs on the paper, I put it out the window and flick the back off the paper so the spider falls off.

That's nice, flicking them off a piece of paper when a spider's abdomen can rupture from a small fall or their exoskeleton can get severely damaged or shattered. Or they just straight up explode and die.

OT: I just grab a glass or bowl depending on how big the spider is and put it somewhere outside in a bush.

I set them free. No poisonous spiders in my country are known, at least not for humans that also can bite through skin. I pick em up sometimes in the hand, depending on species, size and speed... otherwise with a paper or whatever i got.

If i see a nest tho, thats squished with some toilet paper. Or u get 100 0.3mm spidies hanging off the ceiling... those are a bit... well thats the only time i got a bit growsed out by spiders. Didnt know what a nest looked like, so i split the web & Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiie out came little spiders

If you squash a spider other spiders know that being in your presence when you are awake means death, that way they will only travel when you sleep.
