What if Japan never existed?

Do you mean what if the country had not achieved independence from Chinese imperial rule, or that the landmass had never existed in the first place?

I think that Genghis Khan might have gotten around to pushing through the Francs at the rhine if he hadn't lost so many troops trying to invade, for starters.

Which means that England would most likely not have enjoyed the conflux of circumstances which allowed it to become a world power.

Russia might not be communist, and neither would China most likely.

Africa would probably be a continent of world powers.

North and South America would be predominately native populations, as the circumstances which lead Europe to becoming a hotbed for disease growth would not have occurred.

Or maybe all of that would have happened anyway somehow.

I don't think gaming in general would have grown as much then today if company like Nintendo and Sony would never have been around , maybe even microsoft might not have been inspired to do it's Xbox console.

we wouldn't have drifting which would kinda suck but as a very big positive we wouldn't have anime and the weird pillow loving weirdos so it's a sacrifice i'd be willing to make.
