Also this.
Also it's funny how people vehemently against tattoos often think that people who get tattoos get them to be more attractive like what???? For most people it's a deeply personal thing.
no i don't have one
honest to god i hate them. I never liked them like yo you know you're gonna grow old and that heart is gonna turn into a liver as your skin sags right? Also weird seeing a bunch of old people with skulls and bones that look like they got their bones caved in and aged.
Imo it depends on the body area and the tatoo itself. Some like say an arm or a palm legs. Anything that can be hidden imo is pretty good and if you pay good money then okay yeah it'll be good. You got one you like it and you're somewhat minding your manners around people.
But like around the neck face waist hands stomach area. It's like why? It's just basically asking for attention. Especially around the neck or face area is just basically advertising that you're a walking billboard. Place your business here.
It also used to be the symbol of a rebel and an open minded person. Like a very chill person would get them. Now every Tom ♥♥♥♥ and Nancy has them. Every douche bag and jerk. Every time i see someone with tattoos it's like since more people have them there's a 90% chance the person is a ♥♥♥♥. Best to avoid them even if you meet someone that's nice. The sins of the many are paid for by one.
it's attention seeking. But again it depends where it is. Anywhere hidden okay. Anywhere visible and you need a curtain to cover it then yeah it's asking for someone to stare so you can probably talk back to them or just to get some glances.
Some people have some like mom or the name of their lover / wife / husband or someone / thing that means alot. In their arm or palm or chest region then yeah that is personal.
What's the point then? If one is shy and want to hide his body from others (like I do) clothes are much better and you can put them and remove them as you wish anytime you want.
I know this is not the case usually but tattoos actually hide your body, its actual look.
They are expensive.
It is painful to get them (and I absolutely hate pain).
It is hard to remove them if you change your mind.
I mean I cannot see absolutely anything positive about them at all.
If I like a design or a drawing or something like that I prefer to have it on a piece or paper or on a PNG file on my desktop maybe or something like that.
I suppose neither you nor me can claim why people want tattoos, unless you have some sort of statistics. All I can offer is my experience and anecdotal evidence from people I know.
woah.. way to assume stuff.. u dont have any, yet u have serious arguments on why a person have tattoos where they have them.. unless u know the person having them and talked to them about it, u dont know why they have them or their reason for having them where they are.. could it be, now lets assume u can see a bit beyond ur own views here.. that the reason ppl might have tattoos visible is because.. they want to be able to look at them themself?
lemme give u an example to help make u understand this from my view.. i have tattoos where i can see them because they mean something to me, they remind me, they make me smile, they make me happy, one is related to two of my close friends.. 1 is related to my family, another to my best friend.. and i love getting reminded of that on bad days.. show off.. not at all.. infact i dont like attention.. i got the ones i have for me.. not anyone else.. but as a reminder of loved ones made into art on my body..
What a trash take.
My tatoo is literally a joke message in the Dark Souls font.
You wouldn't think it's personal but it is.
The message is a joke version of a tatoo my sister has.
The font is because I love Dark Souls and its font fits the message.
The reason I got it is because my sister has my name tatooed on her wrist, so I wanted a tatoo that also represents her but without being simply her name.
And she gifted me the tatoo.
However, it would be nice to see more invisible ink/glow-in-the-dark tattoos. Dollar tattoos are nice too.
And since it's not approved, not every tattoo parlor even gets the ink
EDIT: They also don't actually glow in the dark per say, they glow under UV light (blue lights)
I don't see anyone being "triggered"?
