Have you guys ever started a new hobby only to drop soon after?
I'm trying to find new hobbies or skills, or something to replace gaming, but I can't seem to find anything that I know for sure I will drop later.

I've thought about dancing but I realized that I don't actually listen to a lot of music and my music choices are different (EDM/ Japanese.) I also thought about doing table tennis but still not sure about it. I also thought about doing kung fu again (specifically drunken boxing if possible) but I feel like I'll get bored of it.

i dropped some hobbies i had when i was a kid, like going to the pool n swimming

but I found a new hobby i really like doing. Woodworking. I make signs and stuff on a workbench in my room and give it as gifts to my family. I might start selling stuff eventually.. so its a hobby that could get you paid

but woodworking is fun. shooting guns could be fun, like getting a gun and practicing your aim on targets. and i like writing a lot too. writing stories of stuff ive gone through, etc

I have one of the same hobbies as you, boxing. i don't do druken boxing though i just have a kickboxing bag in my house and i practice boxing on it sometimes for fun

Out of curiosity but which hobby do you use the most/ what is your main hobby? Does gaming fit into your life?

Yes. A few months ago, I tried taking up cross-stitching.

That lasted about a week.
Cross stitching honestly looks hard. I can never get into something like that because I don't have any patience lol.
I'm good at art but I always drop it because I find other hobbies better and more fun.

Oh definetly. I tried getting into creating pixel forms of characters using those perler beads. Made only three characters and some items/symbols from a couple games then stopped right after. I stopped due to running out of several colors and got lazy to go buy more.
Knitting working with clay.

Ehm, gardening. I kind of like a wild backyard.

Basically anything active and everything passive like computer screens various....

peripherals, meters watches... various diagnosing tools and wires. A lot of Wires.

As for new hobbies, what would you do else than computers? There's a digital revolution going on you know? It's a bit of a movement, technically. Ironically technical. One.

Erm, I'll let myself out, ty.

Hey but dancing that is cool. ^^

I went cross country skiing one time. Didn't enjoy it.
I took up copper smithing for a while. Pounded out a few fairly realistic copper roses from old copper pipe. Impressed a few girls with a rose that would never wilt

Recently I was able to pick up and continue hobbies but it's probably due to lockdowns and having little options to do things (learnt piano, languages and crafting).

Dance was one I wanted to get back into (I did hiphop/break classes for two years in the past) but never got around to doing it again.

I can't stand books anymore, too.

I began to read, pretty much by myself, at 3. I used to read history books (not stories but history as in the subject) when I was a child and that started many other interests, such as the arts or mythology and I spent the entire first and second half of my childhood reading pretty much everything that sparked my interest.

When I turned 13, however, every interest fell like a house of cards and that was the beggining of the end.

To this day I wonder how I could've enjoyed such a DULL hobbie.

Collecting real historical maps... They are soo expensive.. and not forget you've to buy frames to hang them as well.. At last.. I got some great maps. My favourite is one huge map from before the Famine in Ireland. 7 million people used to live there. It's nearly 200 years old and it's hanging on my wall.

Well. Actually I've to say United Kingdom of Great-Britain & Ireland. :D
