What COMMUNIST popcorn are you popping?

Jolly Time Healthy Pop 100s (sounds like a cig brand:steamhappy:)

More Microwave Popcorn Button Info: So my three level button corresponds with how many ounces of popcorn are in the bag. Level 1 is 1.75 oz, the other two are bigger I guess.
As my JTHP 100s bags are only 1.25 oz, I had to stop the timer early to avoid burning.

Moar Microwave Info: I think the reason the popcorn button exists has to do with the earliest commercial microwaves. Some of the first were set up in company lunch rooms. Instead of a timer they had six buttons, corresponding to food items you could by from a vending machine.
The popcorn, sandwiches, etc. were all the same size, and each had a corresponding button.
When the manufacturers started making them for home use, they carried over the buttons.
Which only heat the correct amount of time if you use the right size popcorn bag etc.

Our first microwave had a dial. A dial.
Anthony Fauci's microwave has a "beagle" button.

I had a microwave with a dial a few years ago , it did weird noises a few time so I din't bring it with me when I moved. xD
I ignore it. Most of the time, 2 minutes is plenty.

So did our first one at home. But I definitely remember seeing commercial micros, with just the six buttons, in lunch rooms. I think they eventually added the extra buttons to the home units, to make them more upscale or something.

And I miss that old dial only machine. It lasted longer than any I've had since.:steamsad:

And holy crap those things could heat a cold heart.
In the good ol' days kids would stare in the microwave window for hours and sit 1 foot from the television screen.
