It’s not specified in the OP. But there are a few possibilities for the guilt.

1. Eating food that’s designed and marketed for young children.

2. Eating processed food. Chickens nuggets in particular being one of the most attacked for being unhealthy.

3. The OP may have people around who would criticize.

Additionally, they can just be seen as a comfort food. One which is found in the freezer section in many grocery stores. So it’s similar to a guilty pleasure like sitting on a sofa eating a tub of ice cream alone when one is feeling sad.
