I don't enjoy it as well.
It always makes me sad, because he deserves much more than someone like me.
Although I'd rather they didn't think that way, and it isn't really as simple as complimenting them or defeating their argument. Normally there's something much deeper and fundamental behind a statement like that and I'd be lying if I said I didn't salivate a little bit at the prospect of finding out what it is.
Although, it's usually bad or difficult to handle so it also makes me feel a little bit anxious. Still, it's clearly an obstacle to the relationship which needs to be resolved and simply knowing that it is there makes me feel hopeful.
And, y'know, morbidly curious.
A beautiful world that would be.
