The older I get, The more I regret wasting money.
I have a ♥♥♥♥ ton of games. I used to waste so much income on games which I don't even play nor like. I hardly play any video games anymore due to not enjoying them anymore as I'm in my 20s. I have alot of freetime but don't feel the enjoyment of them anymore. I look at how much I've wasted on those games and imagine what I could buy with that.

I'm good with savings since march 2020 as covid but I still am depressed about my steam account. I wish I could go to myself when I was 16-19 & say what the ♥♥♥♥ are you thinking you dumbass tennager. I even bought a new PC back in may & still.. I only use it for media.. You know that meme about the dad walking in saying are you winning son? & He just scrolls on the internet and does ♥♥♥♥ all else with their computer? Yes, that's me. I regret many things & it drives me up the wall.

But at least I'm good at saving now.. Well I've grown up these last few years but even-still I hate it.

Well it was a valuable learning experience and that is worth its weight in untradable games.

Agreed but wasting 1000s of $ on video games is just.. depressing. I have no idea what to do with my account anymore. I thought perhaps I will start playing games again but its been years since I truly played a game more than an hour at a time.

Don't you have anyone to family share with?

I don't have any internet friends nor trust anybody with 2k games. I don't know how to make internet friends if I don't really play any video games.

Like 10% of them yeah but overall, no. I was in a dark place back then and would buy games just to make me feel happy like I've accomplished something. Now that I'm mentally better I look back and just feel anger about it. I wish I could do something with it. I sometimes play rocket league but that's about it. If I'm high, which is basically never due to covid, I enjoy games ALOT more but that's probably just the weed honestly.

Well it's not like you have to give them your account, you just add it to a list of people who can share your library on their own account. So maybe if you have any nieces or nephews or something, you can share it with them.

Yeah that's the plan (Saving up for a e-bike since end of december & Halfway there) I used to weight 300LBS when gaming but since I quit I am now 225 which is still fat but healthy enough to get out there now :) I just wish I enjoyed video games as its my only vice at the moment due to covid/being completely alone..

Well, to each their own, you could have spent that money on alcohol, gambling, cars and women too, maybe it would have been better for you.

Personally, I don't regret spending some cash on Steam cos games here tend to be cheap. (on sales atleast)
