I think may people do know life isn't fair. But still get obsessed with fairness despite it.
To me, a videogame is "unfair" if someone is having an advantage in a competitive game.
If they do realize, and are still obsessed with fairness, then maybe they are irrational?
Or just like to complain.

In more intelligent monkey´s you actually see behaviour, were the monkey that gets the better treatment "revolt" along with the other monkey that is "cheated a proper snack" to fight for its rights.
Tells us abit about mamlian thinking... Nobody wants to be paid less, than the person next door for doing the same or equally important work.
Because we're human. And because we want to improve and do better.
Because we're human, and because we want to be masters of our fate rather than cosmic playthings.
Why would I pay for entertainment that ♥♥♥♥♥ all over me?
I already have life for that.
We are born with both visions and some only one.
We have fast food and some hungry.
We have good schools in our country waiting for us to apply and some don't.
Those people who claim life's not fair, they are just jealous of other people's achievement and think they deserved everything.
I mean it is not pointless.
Complaining about life well, know it is pointless, since we cannot change many things, but it still makes sense anyway because if you just don't like it it is understandable that you complain about it.
I mean obviously in that case it is completely useless in practice, unless somebody finds a way to do miracles one day you cannot change those things, but it is still understandable even if it is useless.
Human´s don´t have a basic empathy, infact empathy is a learned skill and if not for our evolution of our brain, it would not even be possible.
Kids start being able to learn mentalization skills around the age of 6 and often being able to think more deeply about what others feel and why they do it, starts around 8-12 years of age.
This only happens, if there are adults that showcase these skilss in social aspects (parants, caretakers, etc)
Basically.. this is why you will see a 6 year old girl scream at another girl that took the swing, even if she was closer to the swing.. The girl can´t actually understand the other girls motive or why she wants it or why she gets sad, if the girl that did not get the swing smack her in the face.
Some people learn empathy at a rather late age, some never fully learn it, due to the social structure they are in. All in all... empathy has nothing to do with karma. Karma also has nothing to do with fairness.
They are 3 different things.
Life not being fair, is strawman.. it has no value tbh. Mainly becuase fair is so hard to agree on in terms of definion and the different bias of it in general.
Frankly, I would say that life is pretty simple and calculated (logical if you want)
We are born from chance, survive out of weakness and fear and then all die.... it is pretty simple.
Thats not true lot of times what are you talking about...
