Just don't put butter on it.
Otherwise, if you’re eating a store bought popcorn that has a lot of salt and butter on it, or putting a lot on it yourself, then those things may not be so great. If you’re not on a special diet like low sodium though it’s probably a good snack choice.
Obviously, drenching it in salt and butter (and oil-based fake butter) overrides most health benefits.
You might also try getting a thing of pickling lime and nixtamalizing it. That increases the health benefits substantially. Try grinding it into masa balls and making a matzo soup variation.
