Not a bad point. If the port is ♥♥♥♥, then they can keep it. I've had enough of that ♥♥♥♥ during the days of the 360/PS3. eyugh
I mean you're wrong, and I said why in my previous post. Those are literally the reasons.
Congrats, welcome to the club.
Again, Sony doesn't need to sell consoles. Consoles historically have sold at a loss, especially the PS3 I believe Sony lost around $300 per unit sold. The make their money on games and accessories, as I said, and now you're saying. We would have no reason to get a Sony console, and that is fine. They would rather sell games to their entire console owners PLUS all the existing PC owners. What you don't understand about "more is better" is the real mystery here.
No it doesn't because the PS5, like our GPU market, are being sold as fast as they are made. Sony wants to hit their PS5 owners AND pc gamers. There is a huge untapped pc market of gamers for the to sell to.
Finally, thats great.
Holy **** just when I though you were making sense.
Look...they lose literally nothing and have everything to gain. There are NO ps5 on shelves. They are selling faster than they can make them. The install base will not change if they put the games on PC or not. They only stand to gain millions and millions of PC gamer purchases. Accessories not so much, though people do buy Sony controllers to use with PC.
...They can keep em.
Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Ghost of Tsushima, Infamous, Spiderman, The Last Guardian and few other's.
Yeah I agree that there would be a drop in sales, but I think that small drop in hardware sales would be nothing compared to the potential revenue increase Sony would get from releasing games on PC. The PS5 will still sell extremely well, but Sony may soon not be limited to one platform. All Xbox games are on PC, and the Series X/S keeps selling out within minutes. Of course we will have to wait for Microsoft to meet the demand, and then we can get a good indication of how well the consoles are selling.
For the 30th time in this thread...Sony loses money on hardware sold. There currently is no profit in the sale of the PS5 until they can come out with a slim model with cheaper components.

A game sale is a game sale, regardless of platform and thats where the money is.
I never said anything about Sony making a profit on hardware sold. I stated we would see a drop in hardware sales, which we will as some PC owners will have no need for a PS5. I also stated Sony would see a revenue increase by bringing their games on PC, and the drops in hardware sales for the PS5 would be small compared to the increase in revenue from PC players.

Lets hope it runs better on PC in 2021. The performance is not that good on dated 2016 console tech on the legacy PS4 slim.
