the function keys, esc, number keys, shift, tab, ctrl. Sometimes a game requires you to press multiple of these keys at once. It would be realle hard to do so with "TFGH" control scheme. Maybe even impossible for some people
Not gonna lie, I might give something like ESDF or RDFG a try someday. It sounds interesting. I'm still using spacebar for primary fire and mouse1 for jump in most games.

Shift 1 key to the right and you can get your fingers on the asdf spacebar. Basically the position to type out stuff should the need arise.
T f g h you gotta move 3 keys to the left and if you're not looking can lose your place
I'm so glad that was trashbinned. WASD is much more comfortable to use.
I wonder why the arrow keys are even on the keyboard? I don't think I've really used them outside of games.
