Yeah, maybe you're right
I actually had a thought other day to get a lego set or these glue up models of cars, airplanes etc maybe i'll just do that a lay of gaming for sometime
Literally past few weeks I just been scrolling through reddit and trying to think what game i can play to have bit of fun before bed
any way, its nearly 3am so i better get to bed lol
Hey come on we Gamers we know what playing on hard mode is like. No gamer over man. We level up and grind our way through for the lols. With (pixel) blood, (butt crack) sweat and tears (of mountain dew).

I don't know if you already have these since your games are private.
Because when in doubt, the level of hype present within the marketing campaign for a game - alongside, perhaps, any viral marketing done by paid shills on various forums, imageboards and social media sites - is inverse to the overall quality and thus worth of the game. With some exceptions, but there are those to each and every rule.
Also just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good. It just means that it's popular. A ♥♥♥♥ taco could be popular but that wouldn't make it good. Would just mean that Taco Bell put something other in their cuisine other than chihuahua.
Almost ALL hobbies are a "waste of time" in the sense that nothing particularly productive gets done. Whether they're actually a waste of your time or not is based on whether you actually get something from it or not. If you enjoy it, it's not a waste of time, it's that simple.
starblast.io, there is a version of it on steam but for now i recomend playing the web browser version... granted i recomend playing only the good game mods (modding space) if it says "capture the flag" "ailen intrusion" and "destroy the mothership" click on those.
warmerise red vs blue, recomended you play with music. first try out different mouse sensitivities. then disable iron sights and show fps. i also recomend memorising the controls. V grenade. T/Y to chat. classic wasd shift " " movement
pro tip: press W+A/D+shift+space for a dodge jump that lets you get to where you need to go relitivly quickly compared to just foward jumping and sprinting.
semi hard to master. even harder to master adrenaline manipulation but once you do. ohh man it feels good
adrenaline manipulation: for this you must play some music, such as: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VRbLR71Gg4
realy gets me fuled with adrenaline. it just feels like the whole match is counting on you (and that other person who is good at the game) your hand shaking. causing semi random camera movements in all directions. its a total warzone. wait a second too long and the adrenaline is gone. the power is gone, no matter how angry you get its gone. but that wont exactly be the case. because once you have it. either you win or you die (in game) trying.
for longer matches i recomend playing this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=495MUfrcbMc
wait for the match timer to be at 6:28 to play this. then is syncs up. then its realy all counting on you. with your movements as fast as something realy fast kill after kill its envigorating, weather your a sniper main, a machine gun main or a shotgun main it doesnt matter. once you start blasting this its an almost ensured victory. with a match so impressive you will look back on it for months thinking "dang i did that". all just to not let the flame die out.
if that doesnt work try googling "io games" its free, entertaining and something to try.
i also recomend rooftop snipers and getaway shootout
When you have that parent who lets the kids run wild. No one wants to be around that parent or that kid. Even the parents and kids who are the same don't want to be around that parent or that kid for long. I have faith in human nature to correct itself to a degree and the worm will turn (or it ends up like Wolfenstien or something)?
Some unsolicited advice maybe delete post 23. I don't think this is the hill to die on in off topic.
Ok you going full ban Kamikaze up that hill to die on lol. I will fold a pixel flag and do a three gun salute on Stalker SoC for the avatar that was @ROATER. They went out of off topic like a boss.

I'm with OP lately too. Don't do much gaming the last few months. I try but end up quitting. I installed and tried Owlboy again for perhaps the 6th time, and ended up remembering that I can't twin-stick fly and shoot at the same time, dying in the tutorial conflict -- again. Uninstall -- again.
Been learning Spanish with Duolingo, and gardening, instead.
I can't handle the crazy glowing undead that come out at night -- at all. Fun game except for that aspect of it. Like most games, I suck at it -- except in the daytime.
Prey -- too hard for me.
Control -- first boss killed me 8 times on easy.
Death Stranding -- gorgeous, but I got frustrated after clearing out a whole town, in the second area, of those NPC delivery guys, which took more than an hour to wait and use my strand on them all, delivered my packages, and had to go back through the area -- and they were all up and patrolling again. "WTF I'm done, this is BS."
sometime all someone might need is fire up something ultra simple like a pinball game for some quick gaming and then move to whatever you feel like doing.
I am good at figuring out how to cheese and exploit my way through games and I rely on muscle memory. I stick at one game for a time. I like died 60+ times on my first Dying Light run. My third run down to a mere four deaths.
Prey after the first couple of hours get easier. I went just full on classic soldier build no typhoon powers, beyond one. Ambush perk with a shotty does massive damage.
Control was fiddly I get why you found that tricky. Stopped playing due to crappy performance on the PS4. It was really cool all the powers and stuff.
Death Stranding lol dumbass me didn't know I could knock out the mules with a kick. I was playing rushing in and out of mule camps like a bat out of hell for a 100 hours. Beat the game about 160+ hour mark. I so took my time with that one for sure.
