Tell me a word in English that has Greek roots and I will explain it to you.
For example scientific terms, phobias, chemical elements and have Greek roots. There are other words that do have Greek words such as: climate, hero, hygiene, drama, synonym, idea and many more I can't name all.

Well I don't know much about Latin but the word reaper in Greek is not even close to the Latin one.
That would make sense, as they are different languages. Obviously, the English one isn't close to the Latin one, either.
Latin also has words that come from Ancient Greek. Basically it goes: Latin -> Ancient Greek -> Phoenician. Even Spanish and Italian have words that are exactly the same as Greek words. Example is "cultura" in Spanish and Italian which in Greek it's exactly the same: "κουλτούρα". They are both pronounced the same but have no resemblance to letters lol.
Care to kvetch with me about the fools who whine and complain that "'Xmas' takes the Christ out of Christmas!"?
The obvious one is hermaphrodite..

On a serious note. I will list 3

Bicuspid
Micelle
Rhachiodont

The first word Bicuspid I don't think it comes from Greek. Because first it has the "Bi" on it which is a Latin thing not a Greek. The word I can think that has the Greek one is the word "diploma" which is basically the "di" part which is "double" for Greek.
The second one also seems to be from Latin as well. Seems like it comes from the word "mica" which Latin for "particle". The word that would be similar to Greek would be "μικρός" which is the word in English known as "micro".
The third one I've never seen that word but from what I can tell it means back or spine of a tooth. The "Rhacio" is the part that means back or spine which is Ancient Greek and "odont" which isn't exactly the same as in Greek but it means tooth.

People confusing the Greek X (chi) and Latin X (ecks) is a pet peeve, up there with fools who vocalize the name of a certain file-sharing program "you-torrent."

μ is not u

The first two, have greek origin, but obvious have been latinized and then exported to the English language.
The last one, indeed has to do with the spine ^^
