Is there anything that makes a bladed fan better than a bladeless one?
Title says itself, but, is there any way a bladed fan beats a bladeless fan? Cuz i found none... any ideas?

It's heavier which put more weight on your air waves when you use it, also it is a weapon now.

I've never owned a bladeless fan, but I can tell you from experience that bladed fans work best when they're squeaky clean. Dust buildup makes them less efficient at moving air.

If you're incapable of keeping your fingers away from moving objects, then a bladeless fan is the safest way to go.

Also what MikeBob and Eld3r said.

bladeless fans just hide the blades
This.

Blade-less fans are a scam. There is no such thing. Those Dysan "air multipliers" and their clones all have a bladed fan in their base that actually does the work. Others call a radial style fan as blade-less. Not true. The blades are just mounted different. There is no magic way to move air.

Yeah, it's just a very high speed impeller going through a cleverly designed cowling to direct the flow.
As someone who has one (Luckily I didn't have to buy it), they're quite noisy relative to the air they actually move, dust and dirt is still an issue as they still have to draw in air through a mesh screen at the base up through the impeller and into the cowling.

The cost and size of these devices makes them kind of a novelty in my opinion, they're difficult to clean/service and they're very noisy at high speed.

I used to have a nice old Stainless Steel desk fan that had straight steel blades, it was quiet at low speed but still moved a decent amount of air but was also capable of creating a localised storm at maximum speed, unfortunately the bearings seized up and no matter what I tried, I couldn't get oil to stay in it, I tried machine oil, dry lubricant and even Castrol Edge 5W-30. Gotta' hate sleeve bearings.
