Do you dream in color or black and white?
I read a report / article (maybe non-peer reviewed survey) about people asked how they dreamed. Those born before colored TV dreamed in black and white and those who were born prior seem to dream in color.

I think there was a follow up (or someone told me) where the people raised with higher definition colored TV dreamed in clear colors while those born in the dull color era dream dark or light-less dreams (like if there's 3 persons and all have the same dream about a house 1 will dream in black in white, another will not see much of the house or it will be usually very dark, and the final one will dream about a well lite house).

So how do you dream?

I tend to dream in dim lit / greyish color pastels like if i dream about my house it'll be brown grey and some dim lighting (when my house is actually yellow and bright colors especially the kitchen).

so dull colors huh?
I dream at times in different color scales I remember having brown hue like dreams and then ones very green and blue dark blue pronounced like fields and the dark blue skies or other times dark so black and gray scale...

Varies.

I barely ever remember dreaming black and white though but for that is more like the way I think...

Black Ink and White Paper; canvas..... Canvas.

When it's a horror dream it's 4K HD full color.

When it's a happy dream it's low resolution and bad color.
Very vivid colors
Colors oversatured to the point of being nearly monochromatic.

Thinking about them afterwards I can view and 'filter' them in a variety of different color palattes.

It's like I see all of them simultaneously and they drown eachother out.

weird opposite for me

all my bad dreams are foggy or very dark

good ones in high def color and i can even sometimes i can feel the vibrancy of the colors.
the few dreams I remember I only remember them as vague concepts instead of any visuals
Given that my eyes are closed and I'm asleep, I don't think it's a choice between "dreaming in colour" and "dreaming in black and white". Dreams aren't movies, you aren't seeing them, and your brain runs on association, not recording.

Colour is just a kind of experience, and absolutely, it appears in my dreams. But I'm also sure there are times when colour isn't relevant and so it effectively just "isn't there". It's not that I'm seeing a scene "in black and white" - it's just that colour fundamentally isn't part of what my brain is doing at that time.

true but a majority of dreams are repeated sometimes so those people have they can tell since it's a memory after it happens a certain amount of times.
I always dream in color , regardless of being nightmares ,or just the normal dream, always very colorful and very HD ,never in black and white, however, i do remember having dreams with opposite colors or everything in hot or cold colors and even 1 dream where 1 person with a TV controller could change the quality of the image ,color, resolution or even add blur and fog as he wanted and me being inside of said TV (i even remember the brand of the TV ,It was called sharp)

Back in the day i used to write on a notebook what i have dreamed and i always wrote those type of details

Doubt. And stupid. There is no inherent connection to TV and dreaming.
Was life before TV black and white too?
colour, pretty much the same colour palette as real life.

I read somewhere that mirrors don't work in dreams so if you ever look in one there is no reflection, which is weird.
Most of the times i don't remember my dreams and when i do they are either dull and nonsensical or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazingly trippy and graphic.

Hmmm on my dreams sometimes the mirrors work like how a mirror d work irl, sometimes they dont or sometimes they are like a portal to another world and in the worst case scenario It d be the nightmare to wake me up in the middle of the night (very rare)
